Checking Into Soaring Eagle Resort & Spa – Mt. Pleasant Michigan – Cassondra Wanders

Ever since I can remember, well since 1996 to be exact, I have been enjoying all that Soaring Eagle has to offer! I have stayed at Soaring Eagle Resort more times than I can count. I’ve went to countless concerts at Soaring Eagle Casino and celebrated so many birthdays there. Located on Saginaw Chippewa Indian…
As you enter the Resort, you step into the large lobby area. With high wooded ceilings and the vibes of an Indian lodge. Artifacts line the walls, statues and fresh flowers adorn the tabletops.
Within the lobby you will find Front Desk, Concierge, Bell Desk, as well as a lounge area with cozy seating by the fireplace.

Hotel Courtyard
Step foot outside the resort for a relaxing view of the fountain, an outdoor fireplace and walkways lined with flowers. Watch the sun set, hang out in a lounge chair or take a dip in the outdoor hot tub.

Pool & Outdoor Hot Tub
Within the resort Spa, you can access the large indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor hot tub.

Parties
One of the best kept secrets at Soaring Eagle Resort are the first-floor patio rooms. There is one room is particular that has a door accessing the hotel parking lot. It’s perfect for parties for guests to enter.
We had a kids birthday party, and they loved the hot tub in the bathroom! It was spacious enough for a big group with the living room area, separate bedroom area with its own bathroom. It’s also just down the hallway from the pool area.

For bigger parties, event space is available. Ball rooms for big events, smaller conference rooms for more intimate settings are also available. I attended a Taco Bell themed Bridal Shower!

Concerts
Entertainment is year-round at Soaring Eagle, indoor concerts are held in the large Entertainment Hall. During the warmer months, concerts are held outside, behind the casino.
Here we chose the hill seats, bring your own blanket seating option. Usually the most affordable ticket price.

Ascend Sportsbook Bar & Lounge
Watch the game and grab a bite or come for the live entertainment. Comes with a full menu and the kitchen is open until midnight.

Isabella’s Restaurant
This restaurant was no longer in service the last time I was in the resort, but I have always admired the giant wall mural and aesthetic.

4th of July
Catch an awe-inspiring fireworks display each 4th of July. This view is from the courtyard within Soaring Eagle Resort!

Christmas Time
Soaring Eagle Resort gets a holiday makeover which includes a giant Poinsettia Christmas Tree in the center of the foyer. The ceiling is a huge eagle mural and there are several cultural artifacts on display throughout.

Would you love to walk in and see fresh rose petals in a heart on the bed? ❤ Here is how, ask your hotel Concierge or Front Desk and see if there’s anything special, they can do or recommend! Spice it up! Do it for yourself if you have to!
- Wine or Champagne on Ice 🥂
- Balloons
- Rose petals 🌹
- Flower Arrangements
- Chocolate covered strawberries 🍓
- Cakes
- Chocolates
- Charcuterie/Cheese Plate 🧀
- Cookies
- Dinner reservations 🍫
Fun fact: Working in hospitality, I’ve delivered all the above to guest rooms, for all occasions. I enjoyed it too! 💕
